This policy explains what information @AAA Certification Academy collects, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and optional phone number and date of birth.
- Learning records: lessons completed, quiz and exam scores, and certificates issued.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation and amount, never your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form.
- Technical data: a login cookie and basic security logs (such as IP address) used to protect accounts.
How we use it
- To run your account, deliver courses, and issue and verify certificates.
- To answer your questions and send important account emails such as password resets.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To meet legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers.
Certificate verification
Anyone with your certificate number can confirm it is genuine on our verification page. That page shows only your first name, last initial, course, and dates.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run the site for us (hosting, database, email, and Stripe for payments).
- Government agencies when the law requires it.
Security
Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to learner records is limited to staff who need it.
Your choices
You can update your details on your profile page. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email ataaacertificationacademy@gmail.com. Some records (such as certificates and payments) may need to be kept for legal reasons.
